Implementation of a work/execution flow to connect B2C client sites to 3rd party reservation platform TravelSpirit, covering live availability, online booking, lead capture and product data sync.
- Map each website tour to a TravelSpirit package via the TravelSpirit ID, with per-tour activation control
- Sync from-prices and available start months from the TravelSpirit Package Information API into the CMS (tour price + month availability)
- Run automatic daily (re)sync of all active TravelSpirit tours. No manual intervention needed to keep listing prices and seasonality up to date
- Allow selective or full manual sync from Tour Admin (TravelSpirit sync vs. legacy DaVinci sync side by side)
- Embed TravelSpirit calendar on tour detail pages via an SDK, including Comfort / Comfort+ category selection where applicable
- Hand off selected package, date and pax into the full TravelSpirit booking-flow for online checkout
- Embed TravelSpirit My Environment so clients can manage their booking online (customer portal)
- Brand and localise the booking widgets (EN / DE / IT / NL / ES) with office/department routing, privacy/terms URLs and thank-you redirects
- Push contact form submissions into TravelSpirit as new contacts
- Push tour enquiries into TravelSpirit, linked to the relevant package
- Push custom tour proposals into TravelSpirit when a proposal is stored
- Deliver all lead/proposal payloads via AWS SQS, with structured logging and dry-run support for safe testing
- Handle sync/API errors and keep an audit trail of what was sent to TravelSpirit
Because of the sensitive nature of bookings and personal info, we cannot show many screenshots of the internal process/working.
The final result for each traveler is a complete online booking journey on the website from live calendar and pricing through checkout, with leads and proposals flowing into TravelSpirit reservation, and clients able to manage their booking via the My Environment portal.
